Finland's Prime Minister Petteri Orpo will host key EU leaders in Saariselka on December 21-22 for talks on security and immigration. Attendees include EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas and prime ministers from Sweden, Italy, and Greece.

The discussions will address Europe's security, defense, migration, and border challenges in a tense geopolitical climate. Finland recently accused Russia of orchestrating a migrant surge at its border, calling it a "hybrid attack," though Moscow denies the claim.

Orpo emphasized Europe's need for stronger leadership in the EU and NATO to counter threats from Russia, which he says seeks to divide Europe.
