Founded in 1974, The Aalborg University is a public research university in Denmark. The idea for the University came as early as 1961. Still, it took that idea about 13 years to grow and take a material form. It is spread over three campuses in different cities, including Copenhagen, Esbjerg and Aalborg. The University offers studies in five faculties focusing on humanities, IT, Social sciences, engineering and medicine, etc.

Over the years, Aalborg University has grown to become a well-established teaching and research institution. It is synonymous with project work and problem-based learning.
