The Royal College of Surgeons, also known as RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences, is in   Ireland. It is a medical professional and educational institution and also Ireland's first private university. Since 1784, Established as the national training organization for surgery in Ireland, RCSI has been at the forefront of healthcare research and education and currently provides a broad range of medical education in various countries. Education at the university is delivered using a structure of departments running across schools and faculties. The top faculty is the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, with the following schools.

BioSoc is a biological society of RCIS and claims to be the oldest student medical association in the world.
