About

Rutgers Institution-New Brunswick is one of three regional campuses of New Jersey's public land-grant research university, Rutgers University. It is in New Brunswick and Piscataway, New Jersey. It is the university's oldest campus, with the others in Camden and Newark. It is divided into smaller sections. 

Rutgers–New Brunswick also has numerous buildings in New Brunswick's downtown area. It belongs to the "R1: Doctoral Universities – Very High Research Activity" category.

There are 19 undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools on the campuses in New Brunswick. They have a total of 8,500 academic staff. 

This institute has five campuses. Each has dining halls, apartment buildings, libraries, and student centres. These are Douglass, College Avenue, Cook, Busch and Livingston. Here they provide facilities, meals, and transportation. Also, they have museums, health and computing centres.

The student population of this university is more than 50,254. Their undergraduate students are 36,039, and postgraduate are 14,215. 

More than 9,000 international students attend Rutgers from about 125 different nations. For our international community, Rutgers Global-International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) is dedicated to providing top-notch services and stimulating experiences.

Accommodation

Residence halls provide many facilities for students. With over 15,000 resident students, five different campuses, each with its own identity, 58 residence halls, four dining halls and 30-plus food courts/cafés are available.  One can find everything they need right on campus. Despite some over-crowding, those who wish to live on-campus are usually accommodated.

First Transit currently offers a year-round bus service that includes holidays and weekends.

There are three complexes that house graduating families. The names of these residences are Johnson, Nichols and Marvin. The three apartment buildings are all situated on the Busch Campus in Piscataway Township.
