In performing arts, TUD has many groups. Still, all of them assemble in 4 major culbs: Die Bühne (Theater group),  Folkloretanzensemble Thea-Maass (Folk dance group), and last two university orchestra and choir.

The residence halls of the Studentenwerk Dresden offer them an opportunity to live with fellow students and have short distances to the university. Students will find offers for individualists and those who like to live in shared flats.
