University sports teams perform very well in tennis, basketball, and hockey. This team has brought many gold, silver, and bronze medals to the university. Students of UniSQ produce films, plays, and entertainment shows addressing gender identity, culture, and the struggle of young people. In addition, the University of Southern Queensland has established an art venue named USQ Artsworx, where artists, students, and community art events are organized.

USQ's Residential Colleges are located on-campus at USQ Toowoomba. Whether students want the whole University of Southern Queensland’s Residential Colleges is located on-campus at USQ Toowoomba. The Education City Residential Village, located just 100 meters from USQ Springfield, provides a friendly residential community environment. At the same time, off-campus accommodation at the USQ Ipswich campus is independently owned and operated. Whether students want the whole package with meals included or to share a kitchen, USQ Residential Colleges offers a great university experience.

Collegiate Team in university residences is employed to help students with any difficulty in living in college, whether social, personal or academic. Each residential complex has a Residential Advisor to help students and enhance their well-being in the university package with meals included or to share a kitchen, USQ Residential Colleges offers a great uni experience.
