Students

For over 55 years, the university has been delivering international-level teaching. In 2020, VU had more than 11,000 students who came from foreign countries abroad, out of which 5500 were getting an education from an overseas course with one of its many international education delivery partners.

Victoria University aims to enrich learning and social opportunities with off and on campus events. The first event on the calendar is Orientation. It is designed to help students make the first connection with the university, creating networking and social opportunities.

Across five campuses, Victoria University has sports and fitness centres. These centres have the facility of five indoor sports courts, tennis courts, an athletics track and an aquatic centre with 25 meters swimming pool.

Here students have a range of services available to get assistance and help in their studies and to get the most out of university life. Student Advisors at the university provide personalized advice and assistance regarding academic or personal issues.

Accommodation

VU offers assured housing to new and continuing full-time and new international and domestic students. It offers modern purpose-built student residences in Footscray with a community environment and excellent facilities within a short distance of classes. This housing is provided in partnership with UniLodge.

The university offers a VU Student Housing Database facility for students planning to live off-campus. Here students get a list of rental property vacancies and shared housing.
