A part of the UAE Golden Visa Programme is Business Visa. It lets foreign nationals apply for a long-term visa for themselves and their dependents. Anyone who has owned a business at some point in their career and wishes to do so again in the UAE qualifies as an eligible entrepreneur. 

Its goal is to create a business-friendly environment to help the UAE's economy grow.

What is UAE Golden Visa?

Global investors and world-class talent from around the world can apply for the UAE's Golden Visa in Abu Dhabi, which provides visas for up to ten years. Doctors, specialists, scientists, and inventors are examples of people and researchers in the areas of science and knowledge.

ELIGIBILITY

Professionals with entrepreneurial experience from any country are qualified to apply for a business visa. 

Business applicants need to do the following to get their visa: 

  • Must be able to prove entrepreneur experience.
  • significant shareholder in a start-up or a senior executive in one. 
  • The applicant should be willing to relocate to the United Arab Emirates. Also, to legally set up a business in any one of seven emirates.
  • Should have a business idea or a plan that you'd like to see realised in the UAE.

Documents

When applying for a Business Visa in the UAE, you'll need the following documents.

  • Proof of funds to invest in the country.
  • Identity documents
  • Documents of dependents, if any.
  • Evidence of the business idea if needed.

Process

To apply for a Business Visa, you must first have your nomination approved by a UAE government-supported incubator. The current government-supported incubators are AREA2071 in Dubai and HUB71 in Abu Dhabi. 

When to Apply
You may apply as soon as you fulfil the documents demanded in the application.

Visa Processing Time
The visa is processed within a few days or even a month.

How to Apply
The relevant authorities will invite you to apply for a visa thru the Federal Authority for Citizenship, Identity, Customs and Ports Security once your nomination has been approved.

Duration & Fees

Duration
After receiving the visa, the applicant is permitted to enter the country. Then the visa holder can stay for six months with a multiple-entry visa to expedite the business establishment procedures.

Fees
It may cost 650 AED.

EXTENSION

You can convert your visas into residency quickly and conveniently at Services1 Centre in Emirates Towers, Dubai. Or you can directly do it through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Ports Security. You may nominate a maximum of three of the business's senior staff to obtain residency.
