Employment Visa (Specific Professionals) Italy

About

The Italy Work Visa, also known as a National or D-Visa, is a form of Italian Long-Stay Visa. It is little more than a Tourist Visa. It implies you'll be allowed to enter Italy. Still, you'll need to apply for further permission to stay (a residence permit or permesso di soggiorno).

Make sure that you are qualified for this visa before applying for it. It is because, depending on the health of the Italian employment market and immigration, the Italian government only approves Work Visa applications for several months every one or two years.

Eligibility

The employment visa is allotted to you if you are:

  • translators and interpreters
  • employees of foreign corporations carry out activities in Italy when the employer assigns the employee work activities to be performed in Italy for a specific period.
  • artists and technicians to be hired to perform productions, theatre shows, music, and dance events.
