About

Foreigners who participate in a company, run a business as sole owners or invest at least 65,000 EUR in an enterprise in Estonia are given residency. However, you must invest at least 1,000,000 EUR in an Estonian business listed in the e-Bussiness Register in order to be eligible to apply for a significant investment visa.

Eligibility

The investor must satisfy the following requirements in order to be eligible for an Estonian Investment visa:

  • The investor is required to invest at least 65,000 EUR in Estonian business. Moreover, the investment may vary depending on the kind of visa you are applying for.
  • The investor needs to have previous business management experience.
  • The investor must be familiar with Estonian business.

Documents

The following paperwork is normally needed to apply for an investment visa in Estonia:

  • Valid travel document or passport.
  • A thoroughly filled-out visa application form.
  • Evidence showing the applicant has contributed at least 100,000 euros to a fund that finances Estonian firms or a business that is registered and operating in Estonia.
  • A thorough plan detailing the applicant's business operations and how they propose to support the Estonian economy and create jobs.
  • Proof that the applicant will have enough money to maintain themselves and their family while they are visiting Estonia.
  • Evidence of current health insurance coverage for the applicant's whole stay in Estonia.

Process

Downloading and completing the application for a temporary residence permit in either English or Estonian is the first step in applying for an investor visa for Estonia.

Visa Processing Time
Your application will be evaluated when you have handed it in person. Within two months of your application being accepted, you will find out if you were successful or unsuccessful.
