You can submit a Family Reunification Visa application if you reside in Switzerland and wish to bring in foreign family members who reside elsewhere.
According to the authorities, family reunification may be a right or a possibility depending on your residency permission. Unlike the C permit, the B permit does not always offer you the right to a family reunion. However, the authorities may still grant you this privilege. No one seeking asylum is permitted.
If you are a national of Switzerland or from an EU/EFTA nation. In that case, you are permitted to bring the following family members to Switzerland.
However, if you are a foreign national, you are only permitted to bring your partner and children under 18.

When you apply for Family Reunification Visa, Switzerland must recognise your marriage or legally recognised partnership. If you are not legally married to your partner, you cannot bring them with you if you have a Swiss passport and are in a dual-national relationship.
When to Apply
In principle, you have five years to petition for family reunification. However, if the application is for children over 12, you only have one year. It will help them fit into Swiss society more quickly.
You must wait three years after receiving an F permit to request family reunification if you were granted provisional admission to Switzerland.

This visa may take a couple of months to process. It can even take longer in some cases.

Once you are eligible to apply for reunification, you should contact cantonal immigration authorities. You can also take help from a visa consultant in that matter.
Duration
Normally, you have to live for 5 years in Switzerland before you are eligible to apply for Family Reunification. But till then, you are supposed to stay in the country on a National Visa, valid for 1 year.
Fees
The national visa costs 92 USD for adults while 46 USD for children between 6 and 11. Moreover, you have to pay extra while applying for a Family Reunification Visa.
The National Visa, the first step toward a Family Reunification Visa, can be renewed before expiry. Once you have a family visa, there is no need to apply for an extension.
Work
Only parents and grandparents on this visa are not allowed.

Include family members and even children.
Study
The applicant, especially children, may continue their studies.
Health insurance
Compulsory for all the applicants.
