About

The Fast-track scheme enables authorised businesses to hire foreign workers with specialised skills to work in Denmark more quickly and easily. It indicates that, as a highly qualified employee, you can begin working for the certified company quickly and with some flexibility. The programme also enables you to alternate between jobs in Denmark and abroad.

Eligibility

To be eligible, your;

  • job must meet the conditions of one of the 4 fast tracks.
  • salary and employment conditions must correspond to Danish standards.
  • It is a requirement that your employer is certified by the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI).

Documents

You must submit the following documents.

  • Documentation of paid fee. Attach receipt for your payment.
  • A duplicate of the applicant's passport, including the front and back covers, all pages, even blank ones.
  • Power of attorney from the applicant.
  • An employment contract or job offer containing information about your salary, terms of employment, and a job description. The offer or contract must not be more than 30 days old.
  • Documentation of educational background.
  • Documents of authorisation. Only relevant if the job requires a Danish authorisation.

Process

When to Apply
You must apply for this visa if you are looking for urgent work. This visa provides a quick job start that normally takes 0-10 days.

Visa Processing Time
The visa is usually processed in a month. But it may take longer in some cases.

How to Apply
Suppose the applicant is a commuter who will not be residing in Denmark and, for this reason, will only apply for a work permit. In that case, you do not need to create a case order ID or pay a fee.

A permit for a short-term stay can have a maximum duration of 90 days within 1 year.

Fees
The fast-track work visa costs 4,405 DKK.

Extension

The permit cannot be extended, but the 90 days can be divided into several stays.
