Angola’s government has designed this Residence Visa for those foreign nationals who have claimed their full resident status. And are planning to stay in the country for a more extended period. This visa allows them to be involved in trade, business, and employment. It allows the holders to participate in commercial ventures and grants them multiple entries to the country.

The Residence Visa permits the individuals from foreign countries to stay and settle in Angola.

ELIGIBILITY

Eligibilities for Angola Residence Visa are following.

  • You must have a valid reason with genuine intention to live here.
  • Must have proof of funds. You must show enough money to immigrate to Angola on Residence Visa.
  • No previous criminal activity verified with PCC (Police Clearance Certificate).
  • Details about the last journey in the country.
  • Be in good health.

DOCUMENTS

Documents required for this Residence Visa are following.

  • Copies of Passport of the applicant applying for Angola Residence Visa.
  • Three coloured photos of the applicant immigrating to the country with white background only.
  • A letter which describes a valid reason why the applicant is moving to Angola. Note that this letter should be sent to the General Consulate of Angola before applying for a Residence Visa. After the verification of the letter from the consulate with their legal signature, you can apply for Residence Permit.
  • Application form for Angola Residence Visa.
  • Proof of your health. Certificates that verify that you are physically fit. Make sure that these certificates are in the Portuguese language.
  • Vaccination certificates of the applicant according to official health authority requirements. They may ask for yellow fever or COVID reports.
  • Bank Statements to prove that applicants will have enough funds to sustain themselves in Angola.
  • A document that proves family relationship status.
  • Applicants must submit a document in which they take responsibility to strictly follow and adhere to Angolan rules and laws.
  • The Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) is needed. And this should be translated into Portuguese because certificates in other languages are not accepted.

PROCESS

You should provide ample time for visa processing before recieving a resident visa. You may need to visit the embassy or immigration department to submit your application form and also to recieve your visa.You may have to do other procedures and attend visa interview.

The Angola Residence Visa has a validity of 120 days. But it can extend to more than 120 days until a decision-related residence permit is made.

The cost of this Visa is around 430 USD. But this can vary depending upon your nationality.

This Visa can be extended upto 4 months until any decision regarding your residence permit is made.
