Start-up Denmark offers international business owners the chance to be given a residence visa to start and manage an innovative development company.
Before Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) can execute your request for a residence and work permit based on the scheme, your business plan must be approved by a group of business professionals chosen by the Danish Business Authority.
The program is available to individuals and groups of up to three people who want to launch a joint enterprise in Denmark.
You must fulfill specific requirements to be given a residence visa and operate your own business in Denmark under the Start-up Denmark Scheme.
You need to submit the following documents.
Your biometric data must be collected when you apply for a residence permit. It implies that you must have your fingerprints and facial image taken. If you are given a permit, you will receive a residence card with a microchip that will contain your fingerprints and facial image.
When to Apply
Before submitting your application, you must pay a charge to cover SIRI's case processing costs. You must also create a case order ID for your application.
