The applicant for a Student Visa in the Philippines must be at least 18 years old. He must have sufficient means for education and support in the country. The applicant must seek to enter the Philippines temporarily and solely for the purpose of enrolling in a field of study higher than high school at a seminary, academy, university, college or school approved by the Commissioner of Immigration for international students.

First, the student candidate must communicate with the school in question and adhere to the school's institutional criteria.

  • invited by an educational institute in the Philippines.

Documents

You must provide the following documents.

  • Originals of two duly completed application forms.
  • Original passport, whose validity is required to be for a minimum of six months beyond the expected stay in the Philippines.
  • Where applicable, a true certified copy of the Notice of Acceptance (NOA) and the Certificate of Execution (CEA) is required (to be duly noted by Consular Officer).
  • A notarized medical certificate (FA Form No. 11), as well as laboratory reports on urine, stool (ova/parasites and occult blood), and blood (routine).
  • Plates for chest x-rays and their results.
  • The issuing police officer's signature and the law enforcement agency's seal appear on the Police Clearance Certificate.

Candidates for non-immigrant visas are advised to submit applications at least 3 months before the day they want to travel. Also, before you apply for a visa, ensure you have all the necessary paperwork.
