To get this visa, follow the steps below.
When to Apply

Visa Processing Time
A long-stay work visa in Germany can take anywhere from one to three months to process when the application is submitted. The duration may take to process your application is also determined by the number of applications the embassy is currently receiving. Also, it depends on your circumstances.
Duration
Your employment contract determines the length of time you are permitted to retain your permit. Your permit will be valid for two years if your agreement is for two years. However, as long as you keep your employment status, you can extend it as many times as you need.
Fees
You must have to pay a visa fee to get your application processed. A fee for a work visa typically costs 75 euros.
You will not receive a fee refund if you want to withdraw your application. Also, if the immigration authority denies the application, you will not be reimbursed even then. So, you need to pay again if you plan to reapply for a Family Reunion Visa.
You can have an extension to maintain your employment status. After getting the visa, you need to obtain a German residence permit.
