Kyung Hee University is a South Korean private research university with campuses in Seoul and Suwon. It was established in 1949 and is recognised as one of South Korea's top institutions. The university is part of the Kyung Hee University System, which offers a comprehensive education from kindergarten through graduate school.
This university has three campuses. Seoul Campus in the Dongdaemun neighbourhood is the primary one. The Global Campus in Yongin is the second. The third one is located in Namyangju at Gwangneung Campus.
The university is made up of 49 auxiliary research institutions, one general graduate school, 13 specialised graduate schools, and 24 undergraduate colleges. Also, it offers a study abroad program in partnership with 434 sister universities in 69 countries. This institute's total academic staff is 1,407.
Furthermore, this university is known for its College of Korean Medicine. It is considered a leading school in traditional Korean medicine and other traditional Asian medical practices. Thus their academic programmes of prominence include traditional Korean medicine and physical education. This university has produced many notable alums. Those who have served in the government are Kim Dae-jung (President of South Korea and the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize) and Moon Jae-in (President of South Korea). Their many other alums are from literature & arts, entertainment and sport.
There are about 33,000 students enrolled at Kyung Hee University. Moreover, international and exchange students take courses on the Seoul Campus, the main campus (in Seoul), or the Global Campus (in Yongin).
Kyung Hee University's International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS)offers general information and assistance to international students, exchange students, beneficiaries of international government scholarships, and international faculty.

Sameuiwon is a 392-student dorm building on the Seoul campus that has just undergone renovation. Both Korean and international students may elect to live in this dormitory. For students' comfort, the rooms are furnished with beds, tables, cupboards, air conditioners, LANs, and land phones. In general, each room houses four pupils. Additionally, there are other dorms accessible.
