About

Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts is Singapore's private higher education institution. It was established in 1938. It is officially recognized by the Ministry of Education - Higher Education Division of Singapore. NAFA is situated along Bencoolen Street, which has four campuses. 

It is a small co-educational higher education institution. NAFA offers courses and programs in several areas of study.

It is popular for its creative curriculum and teaching methods, as well as its wide range of artistic productions. It is the first complete arts education institution to acquire the coveted 4-year EduTrust certification conferred by Committee for Private Education. Furthermore, it has received polytechnic-level financing from the Ministry of Education, Singapore. This certification was extended to NAFA in 2015 for a further four years. 

Additionally, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts gets government financing for a few undergraduate degree programmes that are jointly provided by them and respected foreign universities for Singaporean Polytechnic diploma holders or other diploma holders.

Students

As of 2015, the university has a total student population of 2400. Furthermore, the International students receive course recommendations and application assistance from international education advisors appointed by NAFA.

Accommodation

The university offers no accommodation itself. There are many off-housing options available near the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Other than expensive accommodations, various reasonable ones are there.
