Yale admitted 2,234 candidates to the Class of 2026 in 2022 out of 50,015 applications, resulting in an acceptable percentage of 4.46%. 98% of students finish their education in six years.


At Yale, students can choose from 14 different residential colleges. Each college has a head and dean, and they both reside on campus and dine in the dining halls among the students. Students have a place on campus to go to develop their sense of cultural identity via the use of cultural centres.

At this particular institution, 79% of the student body resides in housing owned, operated, or otherwise affiliated with the college, while 21% of the student body resides off campus.
