Students

CQU has over 30,000 students, of which a significantly large amount – almost 5000 – are international students. Students of nearly 70 different and diverse countries are enrolled at Central Queensland University, a testimony to its success in the global and national higher education community.

Here students get various support services to develop skills needed to achieve personal and academic goals. Student Mentors is a program where existing students volunteer to help new and continuing students. Mentors provide support and helpful advice on a variety of topics, from study hacks to insight on additional support services or café recommendations to exam preparation. Accommodation

The housing department of CQU accepts housing applications year-round, so students can apply at any time. Housing Applications are processed, and offers are sent on present availability. From brand new to budget, self-catered to fully catered options, suited to a shared bathroom, many options suit different requirements. Students can stay in these residences for the period of their studies, for a term or residential schools.

Residential Life Team of the university help and support you every step of the way. This team provides a quality learning and living environment in a healthy and happy home away from home. The campus community support student in their personal development, academic goals, and different employment opportunities whistle in campus residences.
