"Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires" otherwise known as INSEAD, is a non-profit institution for business education which was founded in 1957. It comprises multiple unique campuses spread throughout varying countries around the world making it a global institution.
With an endowment of 355 million EUR, INSEAD offers multiple different programs and courses including a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Finance, an Executive MBA (EMBA), a Master in Management, a PhD in management, Business Foundations Post-Graduate degrees, and multiple other executive education programs.
It possesses the Triple Crown Accreditation i.e it has been accredited by the three major accreditation bodies, the AACSB based in USA, the AMBA from the UK and the EQUIS from the European Union.
The MBA from INSEAD has birthed the 2nd most CEOs of the 500 largest companies, and the 6th most billionaires.
It is a member of multiple alliances and partnerships including The INSEAD-Wharton Alliance and a partnered Executive MBA with Tsinghua University while also being a founding member of Sorbonne Université.
INSEAD boasts 4 campuses globally with their main campus in France (Europe) and the others located in Singapore (Asia), Abu Dhabi (Middle East) and San Francisco (North America).
INSEAD has around 1,540 students. This includes 1,000 students in the MBA program, 300 in the EMBA, 130 from Master in Management, 30 from Master of Finance and 80 in Ph.D.
There are 42 student clubs. INSEAD student clubs are run by the students and supported by the school. These include Professional Clubs like the Family Business Club, the Sports Business Club and the Arts & Business Club as well as Non-Professional Clubs such as the Basketball, Golf, Football & Music Clubs
The students also get to experience many events and co-curricular activities during their time at the institution. The students of INSEAD have also recently been a part of team building community projects by Splash Projects.
The INSEAD Europe Campus has two hotels around and situated on campus but only for short term stays for participants of short programmes, seminars and conferences. For long term accommodation there are many villages and hotels in Fontainebleau which are recommended by INSEAD.
The Asia Campus in Singapore provides on campus accommodation with 133 rooms at INSEAD Residences fitting the needs of executive education students as well as staff and faculty.
The Middle East Campus does not provide on campus accommodation due to Abu Dhabi having a large number of hotels in various price categories. Some hotels close to the campus recommended by INSEAD are the Rosewood and Four Seasons.
