Korea University is a private institute in Seoul, South Korea. Among the SKY institutions, it is the most prestigious and one of the oldest universities in the country. The University has over 1,500 faculty members, with over 95% of them having PhD or equivalent qualifications in their field. It's Alumni Association consists of more than 280,000 graduates.

Korea University offers a wide variety of activities to get involved in: There are more than 80 student-run associations and clubs available for students to join. The University provides opportunities to get involved in voluntary work such as KU broadcasting, KU newspaper etc. There is one on one buddy program between Korean and International students.
The University is a member of KUSF (Korea University Sports Federation), and its men's football, men's ice hockey, men's basketball and baseball teams participate in KUSF U-League. Korea University has a historic athletic rivalry with Yonsei University. This rivalry dates back to the Japanese occupation era. Outside the KUSF competitions, both universities also compete in annual "friendship games". In these competitions, five team sports competitions are held: basketball, football, rugby, ice hockey and baseball. The tradition of these games dates back to the 1940s.
On-campus accommodation is convenient for accessing facilities and social events organized by student clubs at Korea University. Upon acceptance of the on-campus housing offer, students are required to make an advance payment of their accommodation fees to secure the room. However, Korea University is not able to guarantee all international students on-campus accommodation.
