This institute has a student population of over 10000. GSIS Student Council is the representative body for students at Sogang University. The council organizes various activities and helps new students adjust to campus and the new university life. The primary purpose of this GSIS is to promote student welfare, and it also assists in maintaining GSIS facilities (GSIS lounge, library and multimedia lab etc.) and organizing official events at the university.

All foreign undergraduate, postgraduate, special, exchange, and graduate schools are accommodated in this hall. The primary language spoken in this hall is English.
