ABOUT

Established as a college in 1969, Taylor's University is a private institute in Malaysia. The institute was finally recognized as a University in 2006, and for now, it offers various diplomas and undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. These degrees are offered in programs like Social sciences, Computing and IT, Business, Psychology, Pharmacy, Law etc.

Taylor's University, Enterprise and Research department is separated into three sections: CHDR (Centre for Higher Degrees by Research) manages postgraduate research programs with schools; CRM (Centre for Research Management) focuses on providing services and information for the overall coordination of strategic research objectives of the University; KTC (Centre for Knowledge Transfer & Commercialization) leveraging on intellectual and academic capital to commercialize product from new research findings.

The University follows the mission to be recognized as a leading international institute and to achieve balanced excellence. Taylor's University aims to develop a reputation as a significant centre for excellent research and academic excellence, commercial success, and international engagement with its distinctive and unique cross-cutting theme. It aims to provide top-notch higher education and high-impact research.

STUDENTS

This institute has been around for a limited amount of time. During this period, it gained a lot of popularity. The University is considered a home for more than 10,000 students. These students may be Malaysian nationals or internationals from around the world. Taylor's University continues to play a critical part in developing Malaysia's human resource capital, with a 100,000-strong alumni base, many of whom have gone on to become leaders in their industries.

TUSC-Student Council of Taylor's University is a strategic performance which provides comprehensive leadership experiences where its an emphasis on the quality of campus for students and improving student integration. The council also represent the University in networking avenues and inter-varsity collaborations and supports the efforts of Malaysian's Education Ministry.

CCS (Centre for Counselling Services) at Taylor's University aims to support and help students acquire the skills, resolve personal difficulties, and gain knowledge that allows them to take full advantage of Taylor's student experience. This centre offers a confidential service available to everyone to provide psychological and emotional support. It focuses on Intervention, prevention and collaboration.

ACCOMMODATION

Hostel life is always a crucial part of your studies. It teaches you how to live and interact with others. Taylor's University provides on-campus accommodations to the students. The University offers on-campus and off-campus residences depending on your preferences. While at Taylor's Hostel, you get to be productive in curricular and other activities.
