ABOUT

Having proficiency in didactics and international relations, the University of Trento is one of the leading research universities in Italy. It was first founded in 1962, focusing on studies in social sciences. It was also the first Italian University to have a faculty of Sociology.

Introduced as a place for social sciences, the University progressed and introduced more departments with time. As for now, it offers degrees in various centres and departments, including Engineering, Humanities and Agriculture.

UniTrento Sports is the University of Trento’s network of sports facilities and services dedicated to the academic community of the institute. The university aims to contribute to the well-being of the students and staff by promoting physical activities at all levels. This centre allows students to develop transversal skills beyond normal physical activities and a mindset to appreciate social relationships in the family and at work.

ACCOMMODATION

The University of Trento offers accommodations to only a limited number of students depending upon their courses of study. However, you may always look for a private residence. The city might be small, but it offers easily accessible housing for both national and international students. Trento is a lively and small university town where students can find different housing options, like a private apartment or Opera Universitaria housing facility.
